Polymer Modified Asphalt
This is a Mastic Asphalt which has been manufactured using a polymer modified bitumen. The product contains all the performance advantages of standard asphalt, but it also has enhanced handling characteristics and increased high temperature stability.
Inverted Roof Systems and Garden Roof Systems
Both single ply roofing and mastic asphalt are highly suitable for inverted and green or garden roofs. The homogeneous properties of both single ply membrane and mastic asphalt types of roofing are perfect for feature roofs which require decorative or pedestrianised roof surfaces.
This is very important where it is difficult to access the waterproof layer after the feature finishes are complete. Both mastic asphalt and Single ply provide long term performance and durability and in the unlikely event of an issue with the waterproofing, once accessed they are both easy to repair in a manner which re-creates the homogeneous weather seal of the system as if it had just been laid
